MouseCal

We developed MouseCal to simulate the real life test conditions when one applies a force to a mouse's foot, with either filaments or an EvF. It is important not to underestimate the dynamic effects of ramping up such a small stimulus and then trying to detect the end point and we wanted to compare MouseMet with filaments directly. This 90 sec clip demonstrates the operation of MouseCal, our "Mouse foot simulator" in operation with both von Frey filaments and MouseMet. For clarity we have used a separate display: MouseMet normally has the screen integrated into the top of the instrument.
